Amanda Hanson, CCXP

I am a digital transformation and customer experience leader with more than 15 years of experience spanning banking, fintech, agtech, healthcare, and technology strategy. As VP of Digital Experiences at Gate City Bank, I have directed enterprise-scale initiatives including a full digital banking and account opening conversion, and lead the Digital Experience and Digital Banking Operations teams. I'm proud to serve internally on AI, Technology Steering, and Operational Risk Committees, and to be in a position to foster deep relationships with our technology partners. Prior to banking, I worked at a small company called Myriad Mobile, and helped see the organization through from startup to Series A investment growth, serving as a strategist working with customers from all industries to build custom mobile and platform solutions to solve business needs. Outside of this recent experience, I've worked a large variety of jobs over the years, and have found immense value in the perspective gained from doing everything from relaying calls for the deaf, to working retail on a Black Friday, to spending the days putting bags in boxes on the factory floor. 

In my personal life, I enjoy keeping up with the latest technology trends, reading, crocheting, running away to the camper for summer weekends with my dog and gathering with friends around a fire, as well as travel, hiking, and photography as time allows.
