Hello! 👋

I’m Andrea — a Senior Designer crafting human-centred solutions with clarity and edge. I bring a uniquely layered perspective to UX design, shaped by a diverse background in environmental science, strategic enrolment, medical administration, art, and writing.

After a decade in data visualization, working with highly-niche tools in a high-pressure environment, I made a bold pivot into UX, driven by curiosity, empathy, and a desire to stop helping companies win legal battles against people like Erin Brockovich, and start building things that actually make a positive impact. I led my own self-paced education journey while working full-time, dedicating evenings and weekends to mastering design strategy, user research, and visual communication. That tenacity, paired with my ability to translate complex systems into intuitive, human-centred solutions, is what sets me apart.

I thrive in collaborative spaces where ideas flow, feedback fuels creativity, and laughter makes the process better. Collaboration is my favourite design tool, and I colour-code my Miro boards like it’s an art form, I advocate for users, and bring clarity to chaos with a touch of creative flair.

Beyond the screen: I enjoy playing with my dog Badger, doing yoga and pilates, paddleboarding, digital illustration, and coffee-powered socializing with friends.
